A private couple itinerary with a slower first day, scenic stays, monastery visits, Nubra Valley, Turtuk, and Pangong Lake. One simple room decoration is included, subject to property policy. Flights, camel rides, rafting, optional activities, and personal expenses are extra. High-altitude travel depends on health, permits, weather, and road access.
Day by Day
Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival and Acclimatization in Leh
Airport pickup and hotel check-in. Spend the day resting and hydrating to adjust safely to the altitude.
Day 2 Leh Heritage Day
Visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Hall of Fame, Sangam, Magnetic Hill, and Leh Market with a relaxed schedule.
Day 3 Leh to Nubra Valley
Drive across Khardung La to Nubra Valley. Visit Diskit Monastery, Hunder dunes, and enjoy an optional camel ride before the overnight stay.
Day 4 Turtuk Village Excursion
Take a scenic day trip to Turtuk, one of the northernmost villages open to travellers, and explore its lanes, orchards, and Balti culture. Return to Nubra.
Day 5 Nubra to Pangong Lake
Travel to Pangong by the Shyok route when open. Check in near the lake and enjoy an unhurried evening together.
Day 6 Pangong to Leh
Watch sunrise by the lake, then return to Leh via Chang La with monastery stops depending on time and road conditions.
Day 7 Leh Airport Departure
Transfer to Leh Airport after breakfast.
